I cant imgane who he managed that, and maybe he picky or you bossy hens have excepted him yet.
Ew lol sorry surgry always gives me the willys. Mmm thats interesting, i know certian animals only get along with certian ones maybe your right and he just doesnt like them could you rehome your hens or get you money back for him?
Maybe it's a pecking order thing. My roo "corrals" the girls the direction he wants them to go. If he's trying to eat (treats or food) and they get in his way he lets them know he's boss. He shakes his leg and scoots/charges toward them and they back right off. He wasn't like that when he was younger either, but now that he's reaching maturity he "keeps them in line".
I don't know, it looks like he's "chasing" them away from the food to me. Does he do it any other time? Most of the time my roo is pretty sweet, he even stands by the nesting box and squabbles back and forth with Ghost when she's trying to lay, but he can be a bit of a booger when it comes to food/treats. Sometimes in the morning he has a bad attitude too like "quit crowding me I want my space". It's kind of funny now that I know what my Oreo is doing, if he shakes his left leg he'll be charging to the right, and if he shakes his right leg he'll be charging to the left. He also puffs out his feathers and shakes his head sometimes, or flaps his wings when he's annoyed with something but not so annoyed he's going to charge.
