Why is my rooster not crowing?

If you have older roosters, he may not be crowing because they would beat him up.

Nope i used to have other roosters but i don't anymore he is the only one

The thing is, he tries to crow like he opens his mouth and does that crowing action but there is no crow.

Ohh... hmm. Some very strange sounds came out of my roos initially, but I have no idea why it would be totally silent. Sorry I am not of any help!

He isn't totally silent he makes other sounds just not crows
