hi i have a three month old rabbit that lives in a outdoor hutch i got her about a month ago and she is doing very good untell the last couple of days she use to drink a half bowl of water a day and i was always refilling it in the morining but for the past couple of days when i go to refill it it looks like she has not drank it at all but why some times for the past couple of days ive seen her laying on her belly i thought it might be gas so i tryed rubbing her belly but she dont like it and just runs off what could it be what do i do about it. thanks

Water consumption goes up and down. Provide it and they will drink all they need. Bunnies lay on their bellies when they are relaxing or hot. Bunnies shouldn't get gas or any digestive problems when fed a proper diet of pellets and hay. Have you added anything extra? A bit of treat foods are fine but should be only small amounts.

Thanks for your help I feed her pellets Timothy hey and there are little alfalfa treats on there for her to chew on I was wanting to try and give her a carrot for a treat will this be ok if it’s a small amount

It should be fine, though I didn't start extras until they were over 6 months.

Wait on the carrot. if you give greens and other fresh stuff too early you are asking for trouble.

I agree with everything.
I used to have guinea pigs, but I wanted bunnies. Guinea pigs were awesome though, they're really alike.
Anyhow, your rabbit might be overheated.
