Why is one guinea hen so mean?

My dad recently picked up three guinea fowl, two hens and one male. We put them with my nine week old chickens with no issue. But one of the hens is really abusive to the younger guinea male. She pecks him all the time and he doesn't come out of the coop at all. He stayed on a roost and when the mean hen goes up after him he jumps down and huddles with the chickens in the corner of the coop. All three guinea fowl came from the same place. But I can't understand why the one hen is so mean to him. Will it ever stop? What can I do to get her to leave him alone? Thanks in advance !

Whenever I have a mean guinea or chicken I will confine them by themselves for a few hours or even days. I've only had one guinea that was mean and when the confinement didn't work, he got sold. It's pretty common for there to be an outcast in a flock of guineas. As long as no blood is drawn I try to let them work it out themselves.
