Why is one of my chickens laying jelly-like eggs? I am not sure how to tell which one of 7 that it is?

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!! :frow Your story warms my heart especially how much your chickens mean to you. So many, myself included, think of our chickens as our pets thus part of our family.

You've gotten great advice above. I hope it works and from now on any other questions you have you can always find answers here, or just ask and several will help. We're glad you're here. 🥰

Stop ALL treats until all are laying normally. And then, if and when you resume feeding treats, you must make sure that it's never more than 10% by weight of their total feed consumption. In other words, keep it to a very low roar. Treats are for you. Not the birds. They do not need them.
I respectfully don’t agree with you about the treat percentage but that is a discussion for another time. :)

I think everyone's perception of "treats" is different. Our treats are now Kalmbach's Henhouse Reserve because they wasted too much when it was in their feeder so I went back to layer crumbles and now they get that fermented and as "scratch." Other than that, they don't get much for "treats" though I have been known to throw the corncobs out in the yard when we're done eating. ☺️
