Why is only one chicken laying??

I have 2 buff orpingtons, 1 barred rock, and 1 EE. They are 23 weeks old. One of the buffs started laying 10 days ago. She has laid an egg everyday except one. None of the other girls are laying yet. This is my first time with chickens. Shouldn't they all be laying by now??

Chickens mature at different rates. They'll lay when they're ready. Mine just laughed at me when I asked them why they weren't laying yet, then one day, AN EGG!

I have fourteen and 4 are laying, same age, but different breeds. I learned here that Leghorns are usually first to lay and that is true with mine. My BO's, RIR, EE and SLW, nope, nothing, nada!!!!
But, my leghorns are champs!!!!!
