Why is she doing this?

about 2 weeks ago my call duck had a nest that I didnt know she had...I was so phyced that she was sitting on them, of course untill about 5-6 hours later she was off and didnt go back

Today I noticed again she made a nest in another location and was sitting

but now she's off again

She has covered her eggs up really good and I would never even have known they were there but I noticed eggs in there a few days ago and left them alone hoping they were her's...but they were not covered up at that point...

Do you think she is just making nest's to make them or is she trying to go broody? I dont even care if she hatched chicks at this point..lol I just want her to be broody

My ducks do this same thing but never finish setting on them.

I hate this...lol to much suspense! I wonder how long I should leave them? If shes not gonna sit Im going to incubate them...problem is Im pretty sure there is a chicken egg or 2..

I am wondering if I have the same thing. My neighbor gave me duck eggs to incubate and whatever hatches I get half of but I am thinking that there are chicken eggs in there.
