Why is she limping??? WITH PICTURES ~ URGENT PLEASE

The reason I put wrap on the right foot's pad is because it had a small spot of blood on it. But day two of treatment and everything's going great! As always thanks for all your help guys, I really do appreciate it a lot!

I know right! I'm really happy it's getting better! Judging by how bad the sores are in the picture, how long do you think it will take to heal completely where I can stop treatment?
By the way Amiga, how's your flock doing?

My flock is mostly okay, but Acht got injured yesterday. I just posted a thread about it. It was one of those "how did she do that" injuries. Mercy.

Time to go check on her.

Well you know, there's never a dull moment with duckies! I read that thread you were talking about and it sounds kind of mysterious huh? Don't you wish ducks could talk sometimes and tell us whats wrong and how we can help? You take really good care of your ducks it sounds like. Sometimes I wish I could have a big flock like you. But right now I am very much, extremely, positively ecstatic about having only one kid! And I think she is too! (She is very stingy and if she had to share her mommy I don't think she would be very happy! )

Anyways, keep up the good work with the flock!

Acht seems a little better - both wings are in normal position, no trembling. She is mouth-breathing right now. Could be warm (she is upstairs and we have no A/C, but it is about 75F, not nasty hot). Could be nervous, in the limousine away from the flock. Could have a little discomfort.

The nurse part of me says keep her in sick bay at least through tonight. The little kid empathetic with the ducks says to let her sleep with the flock. But there are just a few flies down there - or there were, this afternoon, and I don't know if the abrasion is healed over enough to avoid strike. That is nasty, nasty stuff.

So she's staying in sick bay tonight. But I may bed down next to her.

I hope the bumblefoot clears up! Sounds like you're doing everything right at this point. I wonder how she got it, though. What's the bottom of her cage made of? I wonder if her feet got irritated by wires or concrete or something.
