Why is she losing her feathers?

My coop isn't the cleanest right now - but it is usually quite clean - we were away for a few days with a friend feeding them. She's fed them before and takes pretty good care so I don't really think its stress from a different person caring for them. I'm pretty sure she's been losing feathers since before we left - you can see they are all over the coop and on the ground in the run they are in. She's looking pretty ragged.

Her eyes are clear - I haven't had a chance to see which poop is hers, yet. Her face looks fine. There are no marks that I can see....

Why is she losing feathers and what can I do for her??

She's probably molting. Or she has mites/lice or she's being pecked. Give her lots of protein filled foods.

Would she be molting at the end of June? Shouldn't she molt in the fall?

I thought that too but mine molted in march this year so I guess it's normal.
