I didn't even know there was an app. I use the site on 3 different apple devices with zero problems. I have issues on other sites but can't remember one time on this one. I'm using duck duck go and not safari however. Sounds like it's the OP's device that's having the issue.

Yes! This site is amazingly fast, especially for how much goes on here, and has very few issues for me.

I know my mom has an android phone that barely works and the website worked just fine for a phone in that condition

To play devil’s advocate, I visited my “Extras” folder on my iPhone where I keep clutter such as iTunes Store, GarageBand, and Safari.
Generally I use Chrome for visiting BYC, but Safari is working fine on my older-than-2023-iPhone.

This site works fine for me on my iPhone 15 although I do wish they’d set the viewport to fixed on mobile. I do website and software development for a living and this website is better than many commercial websites I see around the web.
