Why isn't there a chicken addict forum?

best to just concentrate maximum resources on a few rather than providing minimal resources on many
well YEAH, but addictions don't follow that kind of logic....besides, I really don't have too many and I can stop at any time.....:p

i saw a Netflix show about hoarding chickens and it really isn't healthy for people or the animals. best to just concentrate maximum resources on a few rather than providing minimal resources on many
I just shelled out a couple thousand on a new fort knox coop for my birds in an appropriate size. I don't think I'm neglecting them. :p

Hoarding is defined as more of something than you can care for or use. In my case, 50 is fine, but 100 would be hoarding. That's because of available structures and money. IF I had a nice big coop 100 could be fine.... but I don't have said barn, so I don't keep 100 chickens. I know my limits.

Exactly! :lau

I could be considered a bird hoarder......maybe...by some peoples standards...

My birds have lots of room to roam and play. If they are not healthy I use them for eagle bait.

I love roast eagle breasts...

If anyone is looking for a person that takes their chickens to a vet I suggest they talk to @ChickenCanoe he is famous for taking his chicken to a vet...

Seriously, what most vets know about chickens, turkeys or ducks in they bake for 3 hours or more at 350 degrees.

BTW how many chickens does one need to have to be a hoarder? I know I have never had much over a thousand at any one time. So I doubt I am one.....
