4 -ducks (3 females). Finally starting February I was getting 3 eggs in their house early morning and every morning when I come to let them out. 2 Blue, 1 white. Tuesday afternoon when I went to put them to bed, I found 1 white egg outside in the run, warm so freshly laid. But it was delicate. Not soft, but you knew you had to be careful. Wednesday-Thursday-Friday(today) I only found 2 eggs in the morning 1 Blue 1 White. this morning I went to clean their water, and while dumping 2 white eggs came out of their pool. They were soft, but that could be because it was very cold so they might have froze. They all eat good, they have calcium and some treats. Why are they changing their "laying" habits.

Hi RannyLW--In my experience, there is some underlying reason whey chickens change their laying habits and it can be very difficult to discern. Have you had a weather change? Is there something that has disturbed their surroundings? Noise? Some relationship issues within the flock? Also remember, female feathered friends, are like all women---x number of eggs just like us. So, what is the age of your girls? Hope this gives you some ideas to consider.

You provide oyster shell in a separate dish?
Having a pool in the Run is a preferred place to lay with young layers. If they have a house provide bedding so they lay them their. Give it time they will figure things out.
