I just checked the mail and I have a new Cackle Hatchery catalog the day before I got a Meyer catalog.

However my wonderful wife now wants me to get a couple turkeys and she wants ducks this year. Even though I don't know the first thing about raising either one of them.
I was just planning on getting cornish X this year and being done with it.

you need to take a trip to my house, mister. ducks and turkeys are cake walks. we'll have ducklings and turkey poults in spring. and there are tons of chicks around here.
get in the car, point it towards Lapeer and hit the gas. bring some boxes.

I wouldnt mind a turkey but they would have to be in the same run as the chickens and I dont know how well that would work.

If ducks dont require a water source like a pond I could get some of them too but again they would be in with chickens and I dont know how well they would play together.
