Why not post listings by state?

I am still new"ish" here so I think in no time I will figure out the forum a little better....

I am not a blogger, can't figure out my space and don't have any form of Instant messaging (for that matter never used a cell phone lol).

This was a big step for me..... I'll get it!

I agree, it is hard to read every title for the state. That's IF people put them up, which not to many do.

What I really meant was, Why doesn't Admin make a page for each state, so we can post under category?
Clarity makes perfect!

If people put their state in the subject line, its very easy to scan. Doesnt take that long to scan a page. Really its not that difficult. Those posts that don't list a state I dont bother with, unless its something I might be interested in.

So are you asking for 50 state links for BST? While it may be easier to search, that would look like quite a mess.

Listings by state might become a huge mess with 50 things to go though and then even more for those in other countries. Furthermore, things like eggs and what I'd say is the majority of the things on BST, are shipped and cutomers are being targeted outside of their home state as the goods can often go as far as shipping can take them.

How about eastern states, western states, southern states and northern states? Then canada and every other country can be called region 2 or something along the lines?

Excellent point silkiechicken! Most folks do ship to all states, so it would make it more difficult to find something you're looking for it you have to search 50 states to find it. The ones that don't ship can simply state "for pickup at this location".

I think SOME sort of 'area', 'region' or 'state' categories would be VERY helpful. Although I'm sure it would be a major pain for any mods considering 2% of the posters actually ad the state name like they're SUPPOSED to.
