Why oh why?

She started laying at 18 weeks old, almost gave an egg a day for 3 weeks and now nothing for almost a month. She eats, drinks, runs and plays. None of the other new girls have stopped laying. Is this just something that happens sometimes?

I really don't have an answer as mine are 16 weeks and none have laid an egg as of yet. How disappointing for you! Hopefully you will get more soon.

Sometimes my hens just are molting or taking a break from laying for a couple days.

Are they free ranging? If so, she may have made a nest she likes better eslewhere.
