I have 6 leghorn pullets 3 white 3 red. They are exactly the same age and 2 of the white ones have been laying for about 2 weeks now, everyday. The other 4 have bright red combs as well. I want them to all start laying soon, as I want to put a leghorn Roo with them and incubate the eggs. Are there any extra special treats I could give them to get them going. Is it anyday now that two have started?? Any suggetions besides patience!!

Birds tend to slow down their laying in the winter so that might be a factor?

though, if you do find a treat let me know, I have a lot of slackers right now...

The only one I've heard is ground up cayanne pepper mixed in feed!! The can't taste the hot, but it makes them feel warm inside!!
