I never saw the point to the button quail either, but I hatch and sell and they are gone. Now I finally have a small flock of my own and I have to say that I'm really liking them! Their colors are beautiful and they are fun to watch. But that's it...can't free-range 'em...can't eat 'em...they're just CUTE!

yep you can eat their eggs...and i guess if you were starving and really needed to you could eat an adult button quail...but uuhhh... you wouldnt get much enjoyment out of eating it, they're much more enjoyable to watch....I love listening to my male crow..i call back to him and he calls a warning call then...
