Why The Driveway?

With an acre to freerange, why do my ducks prefer to come and hang out and poo in the driveway? There's no food or water anywhere near.

It's nicely shaded out back in front of their duck pen too, and there's food and water too. But i guess the shade out front is pretty good too, maybe the shaded concrete feels nice and cool to their little webbed feet?

My ducks like to forage along the side of the driveway, too - I think they find a bunch of worms there.

My wife hates the sound of the call ducks quacking; poo on the driveway and sidewalks just adds to her dislike of ducks.

Guess it's time to fence off your driveway. Mine rather be on my patio in my back yard than anywhere else. It's close to us and nice and cool.

My property is already 100% fenced off. No way am i fencing off the driveway to make yet another gate to open and close. Just curious as to why the ducks prefer the driveway to hang out on.
