I'm new to chickens, but here they are Black Star and Americana, I am not understanding why Americana does that to her, I saw that several times, just between the two; any information?

Allopreening = preening somebody else. Usually involves flockmates that are not fully mature and chicks pecking at hen or rooster when adults lying on ground.

Could she be cleaning her? it is odd but i feel like if it was bothering the other one a lot then they would just run off or bump the one peaking. just a thought! good luck though.

Might be, she's the oldest in all, so maybe teaching them
