Why did I ever look at this part of the forum?

I knew it would not end well. I knew I would catch the fever. Why did I do it???

Just built a Cooler-bator and am getting the settings stable. Going to get 3 dozen eggs on Friday and see what happens.

Cooler- free off CL
Window- free off CL
Fan- free off old computer
Light fixture- free off old house.
Wire- free off CL
Thermostat- 8 bucks
Duct tape- 1 buck
Temp/Humidity meter- 9 bucks

Waiting to see if the 19 dollar incubator actually works- Priceless.

Lol., well done. Chicken math will get you every time.

I'm building a 1/3 acre (or so) Chook run and Chicken math keep making me realise I can fit so many different types of chooks (I'm having several runs within the run and they can be free ranged out side).

I hope your first incubation using it goes well, I'll be watching with anticipation

The incubator is turning off at 100 and back on at 97 degrees. Just a slight adjustment and I will have it dialed in.
