Why won't my chickens lay eggs ?

Our Americaunas (2) laid about 6-8 eggs and then quit. They seem healthy and happy. Our other hens (3) lay 3-4 eggs a day. What's wrong with the Americauna's ?

Similar situation!
When the hens started to molt this year, as normal the egg production slowed dramatically. The problem is that we have 2 - 3 year old Easter Eggers, 1 -2 years old Buff and 1 -2 year old Cuckoo Maran. We did have another Buff but at some point during the molt, she was attached and would up dying a week later. They really beat her up. Every since that time we have had no eggs. Still a lot of feathers everywhere as they are not molting at the same time.
The funny thing is that during the summer, the then 2 Buff and the Cuckoo were laying like champions, which prompted the the Easter Eggers to start again after not laying for 6 months.
Everything we OK til the molt then its zero eggs and crazy birds. They have plenty of coop space and a 15 X 4 run that is well protected.

i was told give cayenne pepper 1 tbs per cup and that will help them start laying eggs again

Well, all of a sudden we noticed one egg, dark brown, so thinking the youngest bird, the cuckoo started. The next day nothing, but noticed the old Easter Eggers starting to nest and then the telltale sign of the egg song. Then one blue egg and another brown from the Buff. Then we noticed two blue eggs and the shell texture on the one was very "sandy" and not at all smooth. Her shells are paper thin and I broke one taking it our of the nest box today. Might have to supplement more than I'm doing already.
Now all are laying. The only one that is sometime sporadic is the oldest Easter Egger.

Not sure what triggered the hens to start producing. Maybe I just need some more patience and wait it out

I got six hens 2 weeks ago and they have not laid a single egg. They all lad before we got them. I have tried golf balls in the nesting boxes and squatting when I'm near them but still nothing. People have told me it is because they are molting. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

I have 7 mo old frizzle and I am getting scared she is a indoors chicken so I am quite sure do to lack of natural light is just one of my issues but how do i make up for that. I have a bad back and she loves being in wirh the dogs and me I take her out three times a day for exercise.
Anouther was her food when I went from chick food I had gone to a pullet type foot a no go so went to show bird crumble no go then was told to add water finally last few days she has been eating right I feel egg shells and grit from taking her dust bath in sand and soil.
I was afraid her buddy that ended up a roo had to be re homes made her depressed but she did not seem to miss him much.
But any help
