Why Won't my pullets lay?

When my first girls started to lay their combs changed very dramatically and they all started at the same time. Putting some dummy eggs or golf balls in with them apparently will help get them going, though who knows if that's an old wives' tale... I do it, and no complaints from the chooks. My younger three will be 5 months in a week or two, and no sign of laying yet.

Well I am glad to know my girls are just late bloomers. They are 20wks and no eggs. I have been giving them yogurt since they were 6 wks old just cause they love it. They get 1T for 4 birds every other day. They get the beginner food and free range also. Happiest Babies alive. Hope I am not doing anything wrong.
