why wont she lay?

i have a black bantam Cochin and she is a year and a half and she has not layed 1 egg

... she gets fed scratch grains, and she free ranges. any advice? thanks!!

Are the scratch grains the only commercial feed? If so, then switch her to layer. She needs the protein. I would stop the scratch for just awhile and start layer or Flock Raiser (oyster shells on the side are needed also especially with Flock Raiser as it doesn't have enough calcium for layers).

Cochins are famous for late starts on egglaying but I would think she would have started by now so examine your feeding routine to see if that helps.

Look for hidden nests also.
