My ducks never want to go to bed either. I can't even herd them into the run because Mr. Snoogles and Rory have absolutely zero fear or respect for my authority! I actually have to push them and then they'll only go so far before they start holding their ground. Then I pretty much gotta pick em up and shove em in. They do this funny backwards wriggle when I try and pick them up and it's very hard to keep hold of them lol. But I lock em up good style every night cos I hear the fox comin into the garden right in the middle of the night a LOT. I usually pick em up and throw them in the run and then push em up the ramp to bed if they don't go themselves but if anything is different then it's hard to get them up the ramp for example, if I've cleaned them out, they don't wanna go in and two days ago my husband fixed them a new door and they didn't wanna go near it. They're such pillocks. They have no fear of me, no fear of runnin about the garden or of the neighbour's cats but somethin silly like a clean hut or a new door and they jus won't go near it! I really hope things settle for you Peter, you sound like you're on your last straw.
