Why would a productive hen stop laying?

My white Brahman stopped laying about 2 weeks ago and I dont get it. They cant just turn that stuff on or off at will right? Her best buddy is still laying, so she knows whats going on and where. I do keep a light on at night for them until about 930pm. She isnt sick, I dont feel any eggs down there, she still eats a lot. Whats going on? she is about 9 months old now.

Is she losing any feathers? None of mine have done it, but I've heard that sometimes pullets will have a mini-molt around that age and a molt usually slows/stops egg production for awhile.

Nope, no signs of molting. And on top of that, she still makes a great deal of noise, as if she was is laying mode.

Is she broody? It's that magical time of year...
