Why would Ideal ship early?

I placed two orders with Ideal, one for 8/22 (Guineas) and one for 10/5 (assorted pullets). I got a call today asking if they can ship the 10/5 order. I say okay and he told me they will arrive on Friday.

Why? I'm just curious.

They probably had extras from this hatch.

You could always call them and ask. they have great customer service.
