The title says it all. I have a showgirl rooster, Snuggle, who had a bad case of wry neck a couple months ago. We took care of that and he got better. I didn’t sell him because I had been told the wry neck can come back. Well it did. I started him on the usual medicine I do for wry neck. Goat paste, liquid vitamin E and liquid B12. I weaned him down to just the goat paste two times a day, then one time once I noticed he was getting better. He had no symptoms and was walking around upright.

Then he started to show signs of worsening. His head would bob back and forth uncontrollably at first. So I upped the goat paste. Today he’s back to full wry neck. Head upsidown and everything. Did I wean him off too early or does he need long term treatment?

Pictures of Snuggle because he’s cute. These are older but the newer ones are when he got beat up because of the wry neck. And that’s all healed.
