Why?

There are no signs of mites or fleas. We use diatomaceous earth. I bought verkon but not used it yet for the run Using worming food Covered her in the purple antibiotic stuff. Cider vinegar. Her Combe is lovely and red and she happy. What on Earth is wrong. ? This has been like it since last year. I feel so so sorry for her
Have you had this bird since it was a chick?
How old is she now?
Has she ever molted?

Oh, and.... Welcome to BYC @Julieanne303 sorry you're having troubles.
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.

It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

I think as long as they have access to that run and aren't being held in the coop for long periods of time (that's a very small coop), there shouldn't be a pecking issue.

I would clean out the coop and run completely of bedding, replace with new bedding, and treat the chickens and coop/run with permethrin. I would also take any advice from @Eggcessive

I have looked and I can buy that here in the uk :))
The coop is supposed to house 12 but we would never put 12 in!! The door is only ever closed when it’s freezing so they go in and out when ever they like

It’s washed out and all clean bedding every Wednesday. Deep cleaned every 2 months The photo you see is after 6 days and it’s still cleanish Have to say we’ve had chickens for many years. This is our first fail
