Thanks! Sassy bites me every chance she gets (hence the name), lol. Stella (my Delaware) has taken over that role now that Sassy actually likes me. Stella grabs my whole finger and pulls hard like she's pulling a worm out of the ground. It's really hilarious, but going to have to break her of that habit before she gets bigger I think. The barred chick (she could be a PBR, heritage PBR, or a Dominique) would rather come cuddle with me than go get the wet feed I put in a couple of times a day (to distract them and keep them from jumping out)...as she grows, her barring is "off" and she looks more speckled than barred at this point. It's so fun to see how they're all feathering out so differently! Doubt I'll go for "grab bags" again though...Hehe, Sassypants. You've got a nice looking flock there! And sweet furbabies.
As for the furbabies, thank you! Both cats turn 2 this summer (they are about 1 month apart in age...the Long-hair, Clark, was an alley cat rescue when he was about 3 weeks old). My Staffy turned 2 right before Christmas this last year and Nugget is about 5 years old. She was a birthday present to our son for his 3rd birthday about 3 months after we lost our 15 year old Lab to a heart attack. We were told she was a "Lab mix" and was 3 months old When we got her home and vetted, we found out she was closer to 6-7 months old and CLEARLY not a Lab! DNA testing said she's 50% Chi and 37% Pomeranian, with a little of "unknown" sprinkled in for fun. She's currently asleep in my 8 year old's lap while he's in his Live Lesson for school today, they're best friends!
