Widows weekend

Thats what they call this weekend up here. Opening day of rifile season today and all the DH's (and some DS and even some of the DW's) go up to deer camp. Deer season is SUCH a big deal here my sons school actually closes down for 2 days because so many teachers and students are hunters.

My son is only 9 so he's home with me. We are going to hang out together and do fun stuff like crafts for Christmas and bake some cookies. He still likes hanging with his Mom and I am going to take advantage of every minute of it before he turns into a ferocious teenager

WOW they shut the schools down? AMAZING to me.....enjoy your son

.......I so miss those days......my baby just graduated from Army basic training.............awwwwww feeling so lonely for my babies this year.......gonna run get the grandkids......at least I get to "return" them

Good morning Shmoo, hunting season opened up here on Nov. 1st.
Both my boys are quides, one son has 6 hunters here right now from all over the states. It is a busy time for the wives, they get to do all the chores. But I love it, I get to babysit the grandkids lots.
I love that, Widows weekend!! Will have to tell the girls.
I have been called a Grass widow for most of my married life, my husband is in the patch and works away alot.
