Hi, i have 3 hens just recently been blind. its not normal blindness, their eyes are closed and it looks like crusty and their faces smell. Could this be some sort of disease?

From what I've read on this site, it sounds like all of them have eye infections. Whether it's a symptom of something worse, I don't know. Search the phrase "eye infection" and you'll find a post where someone included pictures of their afflicted chicken. It, too, had the closed eye.
IF it's only an eye infection, you can gently wipe the eyes with a cloth dipped in warm water to remove the crust. Then take some Neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment and smear it around the eye and IN the eye. I don't know how often you need to do this. And when your done, wash your hands really well.
I hope someone with more knowledge posts to help you!
In the meantime, look at previous posts. They'll help you.

The part about the faces smelling says it's something that needs to be treated now. That's an infection, but it may be more than the eye.

Sounds like Infectous Coryza. Find a vet that will treat them or chances are they will be lost. A very nasty ailment.
