Wierd Egg(s)! Pics

Yes - layer crumbles and oyster shells and free ranging on yummy bugs. This is only my second "shell-less" egg and all my girls are very healthy and lay really tough hard shelled eggs, but this was just FREAKY so I had to share. I am almost certain it came from one of my girls that should just now be starting to lay. Hopefully she will get the hang of it pretty soon. It was also strange that she laid it at my back door. Almost like she was saying "What in tar-nation?"

I found an egg almost like that except it wasnt the 2 together just the soft egg. It was from my young hens pen but there was only the one The rest of the eggs were normal. Thanks for showing us the pic it really was weird.

I didn't even THINK about eating it. When I showed it to my DH and boys they all just flared their nostrils and said "Eeeeooowww!" though it would have been fun to ask "How would you like it? Scrammbled or fried?"
