Wierd genetics questions

I hatched out a couple of eggs from by easter egger roo x barred rock hen. My question is I thought that that should make a sex link but why are the chicks white. I had two hatch but one didn't make it. They were both white with black spots. Does that mean that my easter egger roo is dominant white? Chick is beautiful though. It has the muffs and beard but also its feet are yellow. The barred rocks are peach and ee roo are slate grey. What are your thoughts just curious. I'm def keeping and trying more for white easter eggers.

IMO, he's got too much white on him to make a BSL chick. You might post your pic and ? on the "sex linked information" thread. My avatar EE roo makes wonderful BSL chicks.
