Wiggling eggs?!?!

Once they dry some, we'll be able to tell more about breed.

Congrats again. You did great, duck momma!

any pips in the other eggs yet?
Nope all the other eggs aren't even wiggling at all, I did candle them and they are alive. I'm worried. The one duck is very active and the other duck is just laying there :(

It's a tough job getting out of that egg. Some take a little longer to get up and about. Don't worry too much just yet.

Can you see their bellies? Yolk all absorbed ok?
Yes yolk is absorbed. The one is peeping and everything. The other one is just laying there :hit

I'm guessing its the one you rushed, just a little?? Hopefully you know I'm not trying to be mean, but that's why we cautioned you to be patient. He'll be fine, he just needs a little more time.

Do you happen to have, or be able to get, some Nutridrench? I'd give him a straight drop of two of it, followed by some clean water to wash it down.
Also, make sure your brooder isn't too warm for him. Sometimes when they lay around, if they get too warm, it takes them longer to get up and about. Ya know, we all just want to lay around when its hot outside! lol

You can even hold him and try to stimulate him a little. Is the other one bothering him, or cuddling up to him?

Some take longer to liven up...I'm sure it will be okay...Have you put them in the brooder yet?...It could be too humid if left in the incubator?....
Yes they wouldn't dry in the incubator so we put them in brooder. My friend who raised ducks says they are welsh's ???? A boy and girl. Not sure how she knew that already????

We are going to the farm store today and I will get stuff. Yes this is the one I helped a little :(
I held the baby for a little and it's peeping and stuff so that is good!! The other one is so active and moves all over the little one
