Wild birds or chickens? Does it matter?

I was thinking about buying black soldier fly larvae for treats. This particular one says for a wild birds. Does it matter?

The chickens won't care at all (I admit I sometimes buy treats meant for songbirds). My guess is the difference could be in how the larvae were raised.

I think it is a selling point. More people feed wild birds than feed backyard chickens.
