I have my turkeys locked up in breeding pens now so I was surprised when my husband came in today and told me Amos had escaped again. When I went out to check there was Amos in his pen being a good boy for once . . . My husband was scratching his head and saying "what the heck . . . " then we spotted this guy

Looks like a jake from what I can see of his fan. Can't see a beard in any photos, but he looks very healthy.
 
He's older I think, he has at least a 6 inch beard and he is really tall much taller than my BSPX
 
I now have three huge males out there . . . not sure how to make them go away, they are NOT taking hints!
 
You have 3 types of turkeys in Idaho, eastern, rio grande and merriam. He looks like a rio but could be a merriam. I can't see a beard but by the look of his spurs, this is his second spring.
