So my dad and I have been working on the aviary for our wood ducks, mandarins, and teals. (The calls and BEI's will stay in there in the winter) It is made out of a greenhouse frame and is 12'x30'. It has a few different "natural" features including the log, a stump, a few rocks, and the pond. We plan to plant different grasses in it too.By the end of today, really the only thing left to do is paint some more and put on the netting. The grey wooden posts you see are there to screw the nest boxes onto. We've been working for a couple of weeks and here are pics from a few days ago...will try to get new ones up tomorrow...a lot has changed in just one day!
