This morning i found some duckling i am raising them as no one will take them .
When they are older do i have to release them or can i keep them as pets i have other ducks and a very large garden with a large enclosure.

I have called the local rescue center they said they won't take them

hello and welcome to byc! i hatched 8 wild ducks last year and raised them up but they never got to attached to me and they ended up flying away i know here we can keep them as pets but they might fly away on u anyway thats there instinct but on the other had they might stay! i guess depends on the duck!

I'd give them the choice, they may just leave and come back each year since this is where they were hatched. But take care of them then give them the option.

yep i agree with that!

No i don't live on a lake sadly lol
i did some research and the mother duck doesn't look like a wild duck so we think they was dump on our door step sadly we did not get the mum as she flew away before we could get her . But we think the male was a wild duck
Any information on how to raise duckling would be great as the ducklings are not eat and i try put their food in water but they didn't touch it, could it be
the shock of losing their mum

They are wild and they may not know that what you are giving them is food. If their whole life they've been eating bugs how should they know what crumbles are?
