Amara drank some of the water nearby, her hooves scraped across the ground as she would walk along the edge of the pond to find the best spot to drink

Hans walked across the grassy ground, he led his herd to the mountains.

Thistle walked closely behind Hans and snorted. He looked around and trudged on.

Personality: sarcastic, but friendly at times
History: born and raised here, she was almost killed by a lion, but she was protected by her mother when she was young.
Place: high ranking female

Hans trudged on. "We'll be in the mountains soon." He said and a low, loud voice. Cora followed, but her long fur made her hot.

Amara trotted to Hans she began following behind him

Cora took a gulp of water as they passed through a stream. Water splashed onto her as she slammed her feet into the crystal clear water, cooling her off.

Amara would kick up the water into her own face, cooling her face and head

It was getting dark and the air was cool. Coyotes ran about, they raced out of the way of the giant buffalo. "We're here." Hans grunted.

Amara grunted, she wasn't fond of the coyotes, they were annoying

They barked and yipped loudly. Cora shook her head, the noise made her ears ring. She kicked them harshly to get them out of the way. Hans found a little spot where they could all lay down as a herd and sleep. "We'll clime the mountains soon. They're not steep so it should be easy." Hans said. Cora laid down in the soft grass, looking at the night sky.
