Amara sighed and followed. Why do we have to go to the mountains?

"Why are we going to the mountains, anyway?" She asked as she followed behind them

"It's safer and cooler. Instead of us burning in the heat we will be cool and that means we will consume less water." Hans said as he walked.

The whole herd walked, the sun making them sweat. Their coats were shiny with it. They found a big clump of trees and some water. "We will take a break here for a while, we're almost where we want to be." He said and panted. Cora lay in the water to relax and cool down.

Thistle snorted and stopped for a moment to get behind Hans. He rolled his eyes.

Cinder looked at Thistle.
 
Cora sighed, water flowed into her mouth as she yawned. Her fur was soaked, she felt like she'd collapse if she went any further. But she was just tired. She ate moss that grew under the water's surface.
