So Lola was allowed out of her coop every morning. She was wandering further every day and not coming home at night. Yesterday nasty Mary brought her home in a double plastic bag. She was really angry, she’s always angry. I let Lola out of the bags and had a hard time catching her. She’s been in her coop for over a day now, and doesn’t look happy. Not laying either. I might try enlarging the coop to include an outside run. Varmints are a problem around here.

Hi, chickens do enjoy having access outside. Who knows what she encountered in the outside world, could've caused her to stress, lowering her egg productivity. Just make sure she is eating and drinking okay. Does Lola have any friends to socialize with?

Lola disappeared yesterday. I thing Mary, the neighbour, snuck in and took her away. The door was closed, nothing broken in the hardware cloth and not a feather to be seen. What do I do now?
