Outlaw whinnied a call for Dezi. He was kind of lonely.

Dezi saw him. She trotted over to him. She fluttered her eyes at him. She thought he was very handsome.

"Were those horses you were talking to Sun Burst's herd?" he asked, curling his lips a bit at the direction where he'd seen Luna and Demi. (How old is Dezi)

"Y-Yes. But I didn't know!!" She said hopping he wouldn't tell her mother.

Outlaw silently made sure he was on his side, then growled. He whinnied loudly, "DAD! Sun Burst's herd is on our territory!" He bared his teeth as he turned back to Demi. "Get out, or I'll force you!"

Rebel was hot on the trail of other horses' scents, but he galloped up when he heard his son's call. "Foals," he commanded in his deep voice. "Get back to your dams and sires. NOW!"
