Outlaw silently made sure he was on his side, then growled. He whinnied loudly, "DAD! Sun Burst's herd is on our territory!" He bared his teeth as he turned back to Demi. "Get out, or I'll force you!"
Rebel was hot on the trail of other horses' scents, but he galloped up when he heard his son's call. "Foals," he commanded in his deep voice. "Get back to your dams and sires. NOW!"

Outlaw flinched a bit at his father's yell; Outlaw had inherited his father's attitude alright, and the only horse he really respected was him. He galloped after Dezi, shooting daggers at Demi with his eyes as he left.
