Typhoon was grazing hungrily, eating whatever the oasis was offering.

"The horses in that herd died," she said. "Diamond, and Razzmatazz, and Blue,....all of them except me." she almost broke down.

Cerulean was still stuck on that second name Lana had mentioned: Razzmatazz. Shaking her head, she lowered it and nipped at grass. "Sorry," she said. "Didn't know."

Cerulean gazed down at her twins. Nudging them, she said, "Come on." As she led the twins away, she glanced back at Lana. "Thanks for the chat."

Maybe she would go back, or maybe she would search for another stranger to converse with.

Monsoon nickered in greeting. "Hi," she said sweetly.

Maybe she would go back, or maybe she would search for another stranger to converse with.

Lana nodded at her.
Turquoise trotted alongside her mother.
