Stardance, a flighty young filly, raised her head in wariness. The wind blew towards her, bringing the distinct scent of many other horses; that wasn't making the dun happy. Snorting repeatedly, she hurried with her absentminded lapping at the creek, as the cool water was a welcome feeling on her tongue. As a punishment for being alone so long, her instincts had made even drinking a chore. Shaking her mane, she resumed her hasty trotting, away from the menagerie of smells.

Stardance's footfalls erupted from the dusty prairie ground as she sped up her pace, looking hurriedly behind her every so often to make sure she would stay a comfortable distance away from the approaching horse at all times. Fiery, yet flighty, was a bad personality combination for this filly.

(3 years old is still a filly?)
Sapphire spotted her. "Hello?" She called out.
Crystal shivered from the cold.
