Yates rose his head and sniffed. He smelled a stallion. He looked up and saw the bay stallion Zachorzi.

Lunar reared.

Chocolate looked at a block of ice that looked solid. "Look at this, Turquoise!" she said.

Cerulean turned, moving in a sweeping circle around Lunar. She reached out and nipped the other mare's neck playfully.

Turquoise looked at what Chocolate was looking at. Curious, she approached. "What is it?"
She'd never seen ice before, or if she had, she hadn't paid attention.

Cerulean felt hooves strike her side. Thankfully, the impact of play-fighting didn't equal the impact of real fighting. The blue roan shook her head and tried biting Lunar's tail.

Zachorzi slid to a stop, tearing a gash in the ground. He tossed his head, snorting loudly. Other horses were around; he would find them. With renewed vigor, he continued galloping.

Twilight looked around Meadow herd and nickered softly

Zelda looked around Valley herd and grazed quietly
