Aqua stopped. "he's a bad stallion. I'm telling you from experience. Don't go with him." she said to Hurricane and resumed galloping off.

Helio grazed near the oasis.

Chocolate laid down and went to sleep. (Moon is helping a stallion right now so he won't steal Moon's mares)

Orestes squealed after Aqua. "At least I act like a stallion! We're not a monogamous species!" He snorted sharply and headed off another direction. If all the mares in this area were like Aqua, he was better off as a loner. "Whatever."

Monsoon was lying in the oasis' shallow end, turning the water into mud. She was about ready to tell Helio what he could do with this desert living and make a break for cooler, lusher land.

Typhoon stood in the shade of a palm tree with the foals hiding in her shadow. They were more used to the desert, but that didn't mean they never got hot.

Cerulean grazed a few feet from her sleeping twins. Turquoise lay stretched out near her sister.

Orestes hadn't looked back at either Tornado or Aqua. If he never met another mare, that would suit him fine.

Typhoon tossed her head and snorted. Moving out of range, she gave Helio a don't-do-that-again look and closed her eyes.
