Wild/lost pigeon staking out my house.

Hello there!
I have a pigeon hanging around our house for the past few weeks. I've never seen a pigeon in suburbia before. I'm going to feed him, since he's helping himself to our water fountain. Should I try to capture him? Keep him warm over the winter? I'm intrigued with this guy.

Good advice! Does the bird have a leg band? Can you get a photo? We can try to figure out if it is an adult or juvie, feral or someone's lost bird. Either way they are the same species and very coo(l) birds!

If it is a wild pigeon I would assume it's hardy and knows what it needs. If you feed it it will probably hang around.
