Hello!
I just was on my neighbourhood website and there is a post about a wild mallard who has 3 ducklings and looks to have been beat up pretty badly (she had 11 ducklings before). Her bill is missing and she has other injuries but she can still fly. I imagine she has not had food or water for a couple days now. The wildlife rehab place will take the birds but they won't catch them, especially because it is so hard when they are on the water. I would have to bring them to the bird rehab place myself. Any ideas on what I can/should do? I have all kinds of boats so I have access to the water. My heart is breaking for this little duck family.
