Luna froze as a bush nearby crackled. An angry growl came from somewhere nearby. Fox she thought suddenly, and huddled at the back of the den. The fox sniffed around, and started making it's way towards her den.

Burton had just scented a fox and bounded over to check it out he the scented luna and yelled "luna where are you!!" Knowing he would attract the fox away from her he jumped into the open.
